Okay - So I need to lose 30 lbs to be considered average weight (or fit/athletic because I have quite a bit of muscle mass). I am afraid to post a picture of more than just my face because of the extra weight. But what's funny is guys compliment me all the time in public and I definitely see guys turn heads. But they never really ask me out so I still think although I'm attractive, I'm too heavy. I think that gets in my way with this OLD thing because I'm afraid no one will contact me if they see full body shots, but then again some guys do have a few extra pounds as okay in their profile, but as I'm sure you noticed most don't even check "average" any longer it's fit or slender.
So I'm really struggling with this. I had a guy ask me to post more pictures and his profile says he likes thick, voluptuous so I'm surprised he's asking lol. Guess you can't make anyone happy! And then I'm thinking if I post full body shots then I shouldn't be too concerned they're going to be disappointed when we meet in person right??

Personally, as an overweight person, I'd rather be upfront about my size, so I post a flattering but accurate and representative full body photo so that guys know what I look like. I'd much rather have someone be pleasantly surprised than unpleasantly surprised, ya know?
Different guys like different size women. There may be fewer men out there who prefer women with some meat on their bones, but they definitely exist.

I agree with Sheri. I need to lose at least 20, preferably 30, to look my best. And I prefer to let guys see that I am overweight. I've picked a couple of flattering full-length (or nearly full-length in one case) shots that don't look posed. Truth in advertising and all that.
I'd rather be rejected before we actually meet.
