Going stale...

I swapped a few emails with a guy back in March of this year....at that time, he suggested meeting, I replied back with a good day for me to try and set something up...didn't hear from him.
Took a break from OLD for a while and a couple of weeks ago got back on this one site. While I was on, he messaged me through the site service, and said something like "she's alive". Ok, so I'm kinda leary of the guy to start with because he left me hanging a little bit last time. While chatting a little (the connection was really bad!) he said he thought I was intriguing. So I'm thinking COOL! He wanted a pic of me (I keep mine private) so I send it to him. He mails me back saying they were good pics and I was very pretty. A couple of days go by, the Cardinals are in the series and he's a Cards fan. So, I email him on a Thursday...just a one liner about the ballgame that night. He replies with a one liner about the game. When the Cards won Friday night, I replied with a one liner about them winning...he's replies to me "that was great wasnt it......" I haven't replied yet..it's kind of weird, like now he's waiting for me to change the subject or something. I'm not sure what to say!
Back to the "intriguing" comment.....he doesn't seem too intrigued...he's not asking any questions....and communication has just went stale after a few one-liner emails. I would like to meet him (he seems intriguing LOL) but now I'm not sure whether to email him or not.
Suggestions anyone?

Pay attention to patterns – he already proved he wasn’t serious about meeting by flaking.
