Ok so I've been talking to a guy I met online for over a month now.

You’ve essentially answered your own questions.

I really feel like I should at least give it another shot.

My best advice would be to simply tell him what you want.

Have you read "He's Just Not That Into You"?

It's pretty simple, you are not going to have a relationship with him until you meet him. Tell him you don't want a phone and email buddy, you want a real relationship and ask him if he wants that too. So ask him one more time when can you meet. Let him set a date and time that fits his schedule. If he acts wishy washy again then move on.

Personally I think the comment about "what does that matter" shows his true colors, in that he doesn't really want to meet.

You’ve convinced yourself that you have a ‘boyfriend’, even though you have never met him in person.

I hate to break it to you, but your choices are much, much greater at your age than at my age (48). Then again, you are likely to run into a lot of men who are not ready to settle down while in their 20's. It's a crap shoot no matter what your age or status in life. I wish you luck in finding someone decent though. I'm trying to do the same.

I beg your pardon, but dating for the most part, is a crap shoot because there are no guarantees in life..dating or otherwise. And there are a lot of players online. But, it's wise to be comfortable in your own skin with or without a man. I would not have been ready to marry someone in my 20's and am thankful that I didn't consider doing that back then.
