Guys online fickle/just looking for sex?

I'M wondering, do people feel like a lot of men who go on these dating sites are just looking for sex? I've never really had a problem getting second dates. But, I've been doing match.com now and have had so many dates in which the guy is clearly into me, refers to us meeting up in the future and then I never hear from him again. I'm 100% percent certain that during the date they mean all this. From the moment i say hello, it's like they're transfixed and usually try to extend the date. This has happened about 4 times now. It's frustrating! I'm smart enough to know it's not me, but a little part of me is stumped. Am i alone in this?

I agree with both of you. As I get older, I want MORE sex, not less. Yet it's less available. The central irony of our lives, I guess! But men seem to have a double standard about that; they screen US out if we seem to want it too much or too early. Yeah, I guess you could say good riddance but socialization is a powerful force. And, sex without relationship just doesn't feel right to me because my heart tends to follow my body. There's some kind of parable in here about Eve and the apple, but I'm not sure what it is....
Holi crapoli ravioli!! I think I would go GRAPE NUTS if I had had sex and then the guy ghosted! And unfortunately it sounds to me like ghosting is a common every day occurence.
