Okay so I just had a first date with a guy I've been emailing for about 10 days.

Sounds like a pleasant evening, but frankly it doesn’t sound like there was chemistry or that either of you are that excited about spending more time together.
i hate it when there's no clear cut sign of attraction.
Be with someone who knows what they have when they have you!
I agree with Sheri, but I think he can still be interested, even if he didn't ask you out on another date while on the first date. If both parties are interested, then planning another date while on the first would be ideal. But, I think both people can be nervous, and still processing the evening, and may not want to jump right in and plan another date while on the first one.
