Find a Conversation

This is the guy I was debating whether he is cheap or not. I met him only once 10 days ago but because I work during the day and study at night I could only meet on the weekend.
so we agreed to meet the next Sat.
here is what I got after our first meet:
Hi J,
I just wanted to drop you a quick note today to say I had a really good
time last night. You are more attractive in person then I had ever
imagined, I can still remember those wonderful eyes of yours. I really enjoyed our
conversation and would like to get together again next weekend to hopefully
continue getting to know more about you and, if you are still interested (if
not be brutally honest, haha) please let me know.
and then he ghost!! WTF! not that I was having my hopes up for him but I just got shocked that even this idiot knows how to ghost! :P talk about brutally honest! I did email him to schedule another date but no reply! oh well my bad I should have next him the minute he asked me to pay my bill :)

Same thing happened to me recently, and it was hardly the first time. Had a nice date, the guy emailed me a couple days later saying he had a good time and would like to do it again soon. I emailed back, said I would as well, and then Ghost City! Luckily I've been doing OLD for so long that I hardly fell over in a dead faint from the shock :) Par for the course. And one thing I absolutely will not do is pursue a guy. If he really wanted to go out again, he would've contacted me. Period.
It has helped me to live by Sheri's advice, to treat each contact with a new prospect as if it could be the last, because a lot of times, it is.
