Hi everybody!!
I am in desperate need of advice. I have posted a profile on three different dating sites in my region. I have a picture and a profile and have entered all info as requested!! The problem is: lots of people are viewing my profile but I'm getting no "winks" "smiles" or anything like that. After the first 100 people had viewed my profile with no result, I spruced up my text intro but still no results. All together, I think about 350 people from all three sites have viewed my profile but I've got only 2 replies and both only wanted one night stands!!!
I've attached my profile... I would be extremely grateful for any advice!!!
Thanks!!!
Do you like movies? What about dinner and a movie? From a home cooked meal and a night in to an all night out, dinner, dancing, a little flirting: together, we could do both!! Maybe getting together with friends for a night of fun and laughter sounds more like it. Maybe after an afternoon spent playing sports like volleyball, tennis, maybe some touch football, or even trying a new sport!! Sounds great to me!!! Then there is the ultimate fun: a week-end getaway or maybe a trip down south or better yet, a tour of Europe!! What better way to explore and go on an adventure. If you like all of those things, then we have lots in common!! Me... I'm outgoing and have a big appetite for life. I like sports, especially volleyball, tennis and swimming. This year, I am going to try touch football and maybe some ultimate. I like to cook and entertain but I also enjoy going out for dinner, movie or just for a drink and a little bit of dancing. I also enjoy quiet time reading a book or doing stuff around my home. Well that's it for now!!

My reaction is that the profile is way too general and generic. I mean, who *doesn't* like dinner and a movie? What KIND of movies? What KIND of food?
The one part where you have specifics (about the sports you play and want to try) is good (although repetitive of the earlier sentence where you reference these sports), but the rest just reads like everyone else's.
Make yourself stand out with what is unique about you.
As for pictures, you should have a few...head shot, full length shot and a candid (not posed) shot is the conventional wisdom.

Hi... Thanks for the advice, I will work on it some more. I do have pictures and I think they are pretty good and show me in different settings!!! I guess I am still a little baffled that so many have viewed the profile and even thought the intro might be a little general, there is a lot more specific information below in the profile...
I'll post the new profile...
Work to make your profile sound different than everyone elses. Login as a male and search for females in your area -- notice how they are written and notice how they say the same.
If you make your profile the same as everyone elses the only thing guys will judge you on is your photo.
I'm guessing you have a photo problem.
Hi... A lot has been said about my photos and I really don't think they are a problem, quite the opposite. They are very nice pictures of me, one full face with a beautiful smile, one with a candid cute pose, and another one from a trip to the Alps... they show me in different contexts... Actually, I think the primary photo is attracting people since after seeing the photo, they do view my profile. but never any response.
I have reworked my profile, here it is... Feedback and advice would be appreciated!!!

Hi there. Are you looking for an outgoing, active, spontaneous and generous woman? Well you’ve found her. My friends tell me I’m fun to be with and always ready and open to new things. I do a lot of home repairs and love to help friends out with that. Also, I own several board games and decks of cards and I often get friends together for a good game! Still haven’t learned poker though!!
I love sports. I play tennis, volleyball and I swim regularly and I would like to try touch football, ultimate and other racquet sports. I am a little competitive but having fun on the court/field is much more important. I also really enjoy watching sports, from a good football game or tennis match, to all sports at the Olympics. When I’m not playing/watching sports, I kept busy by watching movies, especially action, adventure and suspense with the occasional romantic comedy mixed in. Sometimes, I just like to spend time reading a good book. And one thing I’ve never outgrown is colouring: markers, crayons, give me a colouring book or giant poster, and I’ll colour with the best of them!
Well that’s it for now. If want to know more, just let me know! :-)

football is not a racquet sport! And I don't know if I would say "touch" football. Guys might take that the wrong way. Just my opinion.
I would say "like to try tag or ultimate football and racquetball."
besides that I think it's sounds good.
