Okay, first of all, you don't REALLY owe him an answer.
Secondly, he has NOT been honest with you from the get-go. The reason is simple- he is knowingly letting someone else BE him, online.
The ironic thing is that I can almost... almost see letting a friend use an account, IF that friend never contacted anyone. But the thing is that on nearly all sites, browsing is free.
If someone wants to take the next step and contact someone they see, they should get their own damn account. Anything else is just too cheap.
If I were you, I'd just block them both.
