this question is for those of you who have done OLD for a while.....

do you see any difference in OLD during the holidays...ie less people sending emails, winks...

my logic around this is a lot of singles I know try to go somewhere anywhere if they can over the holidays, anything is better than sitting home alone....and I am thinking if they are not home then first meets dont happen.....am I right or ?

If things don't go further with GG, I'm going to try for a first date on Thanksgiving.

I am going to my parents house for thanksgiving. I have airline tickets for christmas too but I don't know if I will use them. I can only stand my parents in small doses. I told my recent guy that if I have a reason to stay in town I will..we discussed it but its too soon to make plans. We started dating on Labor day...

I will keep my fingers crossed for you and GG. I hope that things work....

Probably because most people are busy around the holidays with shopping, visiting and parties. So they probably have little time to go out and date.

Yes, I notice a difference around the holidays. Mainly people are busy traveling or visiting families, and for the few guys that have SOs they are usually busy doing family things (can't sneak around as much)! Also for single guys, they are usually not around cause they are not interested in spending any additional money for gifts (on a possible gf) -- bad enough trying to get them to spend money for dates! (smile)

Things pick back up after Valentine's Day!
