How Big of A Wedding....

Would you like???
I thought of starting this post after reading about that woman that ran away in GA.
IMHO wedding planning is stressful let alone a large production like the one she was having.
When I got married the first time, I was only 18, but even then I did not want a big wedding. I've always considered them a waste of money and there's all that stress!!!
What do you guys think?

BFE - lol. Seriously I was born and raised on a farm near Eldora, Iowa. There are more people on an aircraft carrier than that little town. Wouldn't trade where I was raised for nothin'.
Are you from there or know someone from there?
I think her fiancee is pretty ugly, and if I were her I'd have bailed out too.
As far as having a big wedding goes, I don't much care. I'm a guy. I'm going to go out and get loaded a few nights beforehand with my buddies either way, and I'm going to show up and wear a monkeysuit and smile and do whatever I'm supposed to do, so if she wants a big wedding or a small one that's fine.
I grew up in the Military. However my folks are from Cedar Rapids. Due to the fact that they are from there, I had to attend college there. I lived in Ames where I attended ISU. It certainly is different there.

Mine would ideally be 50 people
Almost...
I wanted to elope. I am not cut out for this bride thing. When I was 22- I wanted the big fancy princess wedding, but now- in my 30's? Not so much.
It will be a smallish (65 or so) cocktail party with a wedding thrown in the middle of it!
But despite my best efforts, I did get the 'dress'. I went out specifically looking for that simple slip dress, but somehow when they dress you all up like a cake topper- you get sucked in. But I knew when I tried on the dress I swore I would never wear, I then said I MUST HAVE THIS.
Oh well- you only get married once right? ;) At least if you wait until my age!
