How long do you wait???

.....before you feel stood up?
When you are meeting a new person for the first time, how long would you wait until you figure they're not coming.
I had firm plans to meet a man tonight at a Starbucks. This Starbucks is in his small town. I waited over 15 minutes, then took off. I really had a feeling he wasn't coming by that time.
Even if he was across town, the longest it would take was 10 minutes to get there. If he was going to be legitimately late he could have called the Starbucks to let me know. He doesn't have my phone number, btw.

My rule has always been 15-20 min and that's it if there's no phone call. My time is valuable and that's all that I will spare. I give my cell phone # just in case something does happen and they are just running late. I don't just do this for dates either, but for friends as well. I usually meet someone at Starbucks anyway close to my home so all is not lost and I get a great cup of coffee to take home. :)

Oh, Shazzy, I'm so sorry that happened to you! But yes, I think 15 minutes is about right.
What are you going to do? The one time that happened to me, I called him after waiting about 15-20 minutes and left a fairly terse, "Hi, I'm here, you're not, please let me know what the deal is" voicemail...never got a response. Jerk.

I would wait probably the same time.
Easy come, easy go.
I'm going to do nothing at all.....I really wasn't that *into* this one anyway. We had never done any real emailing. I should say he never did much emailing, only 2 line messages. His profile was very sparse and I felt like I didn't know him at all.
Why did I even want to meet him anyway....lol.
P.S. I have a second date with a guy that I have tons in common with tomorrow. And, on Sunday I have another tentative *meet-up* with a new guy.
A busy weekend....lol.
