How often do you see each other?

Curious to see how often you see the person you are dating from online.
Once it progresses from the first date and you have gone out again and decided to see each other more regularly.
Is it once per week or do you see each other more than that?
And how often do you speak to each other via phone?

<tend to work best when the man is more into the woman than vice versa . . .>>
This doesn't sound very healthy to me. I get the image of a relationship where the woman is "independent" and somewhat cold, and the guy is doing all he can to try to please her. Sounds like maybe a good deal for her, but not a lot of fun for him.

I've heard that too, and from a woman's point of view (sorry, Eric) it goes hand in hand with something else I've heard - that in any relationship, the person who loves the least controls the relationship. Makes sense, because they have less at stake emotionally.
But as I learned in my most recent relationship, I won't stay with someone unless I'm gaga over him. I'll give it the old college try, but if I'm not feeling it after a few dates, I'm outta there.
In the past, I've usually seen the guy once or twice a week. If we really seem to be hitting it off, we'll be on the phone once a day or sending short emails.
The dates have become more frequent for me, about 2 or 3 times per week.
I can't remember when, but he told me that he wanted to have a relationship with me and he started to ask me out more frequently. When we don't see each other, we talk on the phone in the morning and in the evening.
Things are going quite well. He calls when he says he will and we are getting to know each other.
Well, we are 4 months in, and it has been very exclusive for quite a while. We talk several times a day. We talk on our cells during our morning commute to work, both after dropping our child(ren) off at daycare, we email back and forth all day sometimes...today not at all, but we talked on the phone for a quick HELLO, HOPE YOUR DAY IS GOING OK, I LOVE YOU several times. We also talk on our commute back to the daycares, and again around 9 or 930, after we each get our child(ren) to bed. Wednesday night is standard "no kid date night". My girls go with their dad for dinner from 4-8 and Mike's Mom watches his daughter until 8, so we can have dinner together after work. Yesterday, we actually both snuck out of work early, and had dinner and ice cream. Weekends are pretty "together". We do a lot of "family" stuff all together, with all 3 of our girls. We also try to have one night during the week with the kids... either out for dinner or something like that.
We are both very equally INTO each other... it's really a nice feeling when he calls me just as often as I call him, just to say HI and I MISS AND LOVE YOU.
With the last relationship that I was in, we started out seeing eachother once a week, then by week three it was up to 2-3 times a week, and then when we became exclusive it was once or twice during the week and most weekends. It seemed just about the right amount of time for me, but ultimately too much for him as we broke up!
He wasn't a big telephone person but would generally call in the morning, on his way home from work, and in the evening. These conversations started out lengthier early in the relationship but grew shorter as time passed and we got to know more about eachother.
I think as a relationship progresses the amount of time spent together should also increase. But everyone is different and has different ideas of what makes a relationship. The trick is finding a person who has the same mind set for time frames for seeing eachother; along with mutual compatibility, attraction, and chemistry; and that you can tolerate their quirks.

Same here! I'm happy for you both, roz and tupperkerr. It gives me hope that OLD may work for me too.
