How should I tell him...?

I've been dating this guy for the past week. We've gone out 4 times in one week, yes a little much. I had a good time with him on our first date, second was okay, third I started having some doubts and last night was really having doubts. Last night we watched movies at his place and ordered pizza. I can tell he's REALLY REALLY into me. I fell asleep on his couch last night and he woke me up and asked if I wanted to just crash there. I didn't want to drive in my condition of sleepiness, so I said yes. We woke up the next day (nothing happened) and I came home. Since then he's called me three times and I have yet to answer. It seems like WAY too much too soon, and on top of that, I'm not seeing a future. There are a couple things that already annoy me. He's a really sweet guy, but I don't feel the chemistry and I was hoping it would progress but it didn't.

My question is, how should I tell him? I know it's going to break his heart (if possible after only a week). I really think he thinks that things are going great and that there is a possible future. Should I email him or call him? I'm not calling him back tonight, I need a day to myself. I know he'll probably email me tomorrow at work, so could I tell him when I reply back or should I call him tomorrow and let him know? I hate hate this but I know it has to be done for me and for him. Thanks for any advice.

Instead of cutting it off altogether, why not just slow it down?

I would try slowing it down too..unless there are some major dealbreakers...that and try to do "date" type things. Maybe if you learn a little more about him it will help.

It sounds like you really don't want to see him again, so I force yourself to do something that doesn't feel right.
