I was just wondering how everyone's weekend went? Anything exciting happen to anyone? Did you go anywhere special? Did you go with anyone special?

Ok, I went to the Southern Women's Show on Friday night with my girlfriend. It was rather fun. We saw firemen modeling tuxedos and then their fire uniforms and yes they did show some skin. Not too much, it is a family night. lol They were taking donations and such. I did donate a buck and I did place the dollar bill in the shorts of a very fine young man. He was a doll and so very married. lol Anywho. Munched out on the snacks that were available, and checked out all the boothes! Fun, fun! I got some aloe vera lotion that is top of the line in natural ingredients! Well, that is what the guy said. lol I also purchased three bars of homemade soap. I used it lastnight and OMG! It is sooooo wonderful. The company is called Boll Weevil handmade soaps and it is just sooo cute. So,anywho. Had an early night, went home and spent some time alone. My dad went out of town and that is where I am at with thinking I would love to have my own place. It was so nice to be alone with the kids at their dad's home. It was really relaxing. Since, when the kids arent there, I am still caring for my dad in some way. Not that I mind terribly, it is just I need my space now. So, went to church on Saturday night, an dinner. Went home early again, ( I am getting old) lol , SO, went to the grocery, movie store, and then home. Had another wonderful night alone. WOO HOO. The boys were home bright and early Sunday morning. We relaxed together and played all day with no worries to be quiet or to be careful or any of those daily commands from my ole dad. SO, hopefully he will not be home tonight, and come home tomorrow, so we can get one more night of peace. :) Anywho. That is me. So, now tell me what all of you did. IF you didnt do anything, just say I did not do a darn thing Gail. lol No worries. lol

Lol Gail...girl, you are too funny.

My weekend was great....I had a ton of fun and I wish it lasted longer. My parents were away at the beach all weekend, so me and my bro had the place to ourselves, Friday I had a few friends over and we just hung out. Saturday I went shopping (yay!) then went to a bonfire with a bunch of friends and had a great time and then I talked on the phone again to the guy that I called last week, the one who is just a friend for now...he's such a sweetheart though! Yesterday I stripped the wallpaper border in my room and got stuff ready to paint next weekend. My room looks so bare and ugly right now! LOL. Hope everyone else's weekend was great :)

I really did not do anything Gail...Friday night watched 'Matrix reloaded' and on sat I saw'Down with Love'...I am a movie buff....you can tell....Then spent the weekend cleaning up the house and cooking, washing and finally got down to writing.I am writing a novel..hehe..lets see what happens to it:)...Made calls to home to check on parents who are doing fine and convinced my mother not to expect grandkids from me(believe me that takes a lot of time)...told her to concentrate on my brother's life if she wanted grandkids. My brother is avoiding any conversation about marriage.....and fianlly last evening saw 60minutes on cbs(on TV).It was a good 35yr aniversary..so Its clear that I did nothing productive.Did not even go to the gym.

Well, I celebrated my birthday this weekend :) Anyone want to take guesses on how old I am? lol My sister drove into town with her husband and we got together with the rest of the family and had a really nice day out :) Wished Steve was here of course, I miss him like crazy. We're having a long weekend here and the weather has been perfect for planting, yard work and getting the pool ready. Today, I'm going to laze in the hammock and look at my handywork in the garden lol

I think I liked Matrix mainly for Keeanu reeves. It had good action scenes too and there is a terrific entrance by Trinity..she just is poetry in motion and a great hot scene between the two.

Down with Love is just for ppl like us,Women. Not great but fun anyways, but I like zellweggar anyways....I think you'll enjoy it Gail.Btw have u seen X2 and bend i tlike beckham yet?...
