I do have dating news...

I just joined Match again after a 6 month break. Had a first meet with a Dr---breakfast at a diner. He was very reserved, sincere and talked a LOT about being a doctor! I thought we might be good for a second date where I could get him to loosen up, but he emailed and said he had met someone else. I was disappointed not to be given a fair chance, but I don't think he was going to be a good catch. He seemed pretty self involved---was far more concerned about what I thought of him than what he thought of me.

Anyhoo, then I heard from Randy, a race car driver. I didn't think I'd be interested, but he has been a consistently gentlemanly communicator so I might give him a chance.

Then I heard from Steve, who seems very nice and I'm more interested in him just because he actually smiled in his photo, unlike Randy.

I also emailed a cop who winked at me but, par for the course, he did not email back.

Hoping to meet with Steve tomorrow at Starbucks.....
