Find a Conversation

Writerchick's post reminded me of this...
There's this guy I met on OLD and went out with only once about 3 weeks ago. We've talked on and off meanwhile but I had been too busy to date much (plus I was seeing M regularly). I had planned to see him again this last weekend. But I changed my mind when he suggested we go to hear a religious speaker for our second date. He went on and on about this speaker and how much she affected his life. It was just too intense for me. He's a nice person, but far too focused on religious stuff as the center of every topic of conversation. So, tonight I called him (he finally stopped calling me all the darn time--he was the one I mentioned would call a few times and not wait till I could call HIM back before trying me again). The conversation flowed into religion. That just wears me out. He always just wants to talk about religion. I was nodding off on the phone, zoning out and watching TV while he was talking. That's SO boring. Enough already. My religion is a big part of my life, but I am well rounded and have much more to talk about than just that. He has no other interests. There's NO WAY I could be in a relationship with someone this boring. I'm going to tell him that I don't think we are a good match. I hate having to tell guys this, but I'm going to be honest with him. I don't want to mess with his head...he thinks I'm interested in him.
