I am sorry this is happening. I have had this happen before too. I think if you call them up and ask why they disappeared kind of questions, they probably won't answer or return your calls. I have found a lot of men emotionally unavailable online. Some prefer to just shop around, like chatting, going on a few dates, then back to the computer to window shop. It's sad sometimes, and it hurts your ego too. There are some lucky ones that do meet men and eventually have serious relationships and marry. As the other person said, after a date, don't call or text them to thank them for the date, let them contact you. If they call again and ask you out, accept if they give you a few days notice and you are free. When you are on the date, do you talk only about yourself or bring up any problems? Sometimes that scares them off. It has to be a two way street of listening and talking. I am not sure but online dating isn't that easy, I've been on many dates in the past and they have never lasted either.

I agree with Vexer. Totally. OLD is a numbers game, so the more men you meet, the greater the chance of clicking with a special man. It's tough. Don't take it personally, either. Meet, have a great time, and move on to the next guy. If something clicks, you'll know.

This past week, a guy I dated, but had to back off, asked me if he had a chance. This is similiar to what you shouldn't do.

He's a special case in that I thought he was a friend. Honestly. We went to dinner and dancing and I played therapist to his girlfriend woes. Yup, he had an almost
