IM headline turn-off

I started chatting with a guy on a dating site using the site's IM and he asked if I used msn and that we could chat on there instead. I've done this many times before with guys I met online. He said he was a fireman and had pics of himself on the dating site. Anyway, when we added each other to the IM, I noticed his headline was something like, "we get there when you're hot and leave when you're wet". I mean, come on. I decided to block him real quick. I know what he wants right away. Has this ever happened to any of you?

I have never had it happen to me. However I have seen some stupid screennames like "drphilrocks". What kind of idiot, I say to myself. Good thing you blocked this guy! He sounds like a real cheese ball!

You do know that this is a saying alot of younger firefighters use, Right?

I do know, that alot of people have IM names that werent set up intially to meet people with, just something friends would see...Trust me, i still have an embarrassing one from college!

OMG, lol. It sounds completely different when you think of it the context of a fire.

I agree, I can see where it would be a turn-off out of context, but in the context of a fireman slogan of sorts, it would not offend me.
