I'm so disappointed! :(

I had a coffee meeting with an online guy for 7:30pm. Well I waited around for half an hour before I left. When I got home, he had left a message on my machine. Apparently, he thought it was a coffee shop at another location and he left his number for me to call him. So, I called him back. He said when he finally found the coffee shop he guessed that I probably have already left. I told him that we'll have to reschedule our date/meeting and just left it at that. I think my disappointment showed in my voice. So, I guess its up to him to call or email me to reschedule the date, right? Do you think hes telling the truth or was it just to get out of the coffee date?

Trust me, if he had been at the shop and saw you he would have let your message go to voicemail (he more than likely would not have talked to you via phone, men as a rule not always are cowards that way hence the famous "I'll call you line" and not really mean it) and he may have emailed you not called you.

Awwww! that rots!

I think I would give him a couple days & if he doesnt broach making a new date, you go ahead & ask him.

Oh no!

Well, he sounds sincere being that he did call you shortly afterwards. (Maybe he got nervous and bailed after seeing a glimpse of you through the window. Have you seen the movie 'You've got mail' ;)

I bet it would help if you initiate the reschedule. He probably feels silly about his mistake, even more so if your tone of voice made your disappointment apparent.

ending up at the wrong place is an easy thing to do, I did it just on friday, it was for a business meeting with a client... I was at a different location of the same coffe shop chain a few blocks south of where I should have been!!

I was so embarassed, but the client says she meets with other suppliers in this coffee shop all the time and people are always making mistakes like that!!

I hope that he is just as awful at directions as me and it was just a mistake!! cause trust me these kind of mistakes happen and happen easily!!

And I wish Richard Gere would carry me out of the crappy factory I work in too....lol.
