Inappropriate photo?

I did match for a month but decided to take a break from it and was contemplating trying it again. So I updated my profile and added a new photo when I received an email stating that my photo is inappropriate. I am wearing a white tank top that completely covers my chest and body and am not in any sexually suggestive position. I am appalled! I have been told I have a very smoldering, exotic look and I look "sleepy" as one guy termed it even in my smiling photos and in this particular photo, I don't have a huge smile pasted on my face so I guess that makes my overall demeanor "suggestive" or "explicit" as they term it in the email. Please, I've seen men's ads with no shirts on and their entire upper bodies showing but this is a first for me! I have cropped the photo in hopes that maybe if less of my body is visible (only my upper body is showing) then it won't be as suggestive? But I don't really get it in the first place and am seriously considering forgetting about match altogether with its exorbitant rates, policies and people reviewing the profiles.

Did you contact customer service to ask why they didn't approve it? Sounds strange... I would definitely look into it...

No, I haven't. But if they still don't accept the cropped photo then I will be sure to contact them. Thank you for the suggestion because I tend to forget that there are actual human beings reviewing the photos.

They might have got the picture crisscrossed iwth someone else too. Another girl in my office joined match with me at the same time and they posted a picture of a GUY on her profile! She got some really weird email! LOL

Hey now... I never promised humans... LOL. Kidding! Another poster added an interesting point though... maybe it got confused with another member's?

I'm kind of shy about cross-referencing my profile so all of ivillage could view it on top of the dating site. Nonetheless, they finally approved the photo after I cropped it. The only reason why I think they may have not approved it before I cropped out my hands is because my hands are kind of resting in my lap and from the angle of the photo, it looks like they are kind of between my legs, lol. That wasn't intentional! I wanted to use the photo because it most accurately represents how I look and I look better in it than any of the other photos I was considering. I hope they confused it with someone else's photo for my sake.
