A guy I'm talking to from match.com has told me differently than what is on his profile. He's got an age range of 21-45 on his profile yet he says that he wouldn't date younger than 28. Then last night I asked him if he's ever been married, he says yes for three years when he was 30. I couldn't remember what his profile said because I haven't been on match much in the past couple weeks and told him that. He said "I'm sure I clicked on 'divorced'." Um, no ya didn't because I checked it this morning and it says "several committed relationships but never married."
Is there even a remote chance that he's telling the truth? My gut says toss him back.

If it was just the difference in the age range I might let it pass b/c honestly, if you asked me right now I might give you a different answer than what is in my profile (don't remember what I put there!).
But lying about marital status is BAAAD. I recently dated a guy who was divorced but rather than listing that checked "several committed relationships but now single" - when I found out he was divorced I asked why he didn't put that in his profile and his explanation was that he didn't see it as an option! I was very doubtful but gave him the benefit of the doubt and went out w/him one more time but on the last date there were other indications that he was not too into the honesty thing and not a suitable match so I said adios. Anyway, your guy is even worse claiming to never have been married. Go with your gut.
Now tonight I checked his profile and he's changed both. WTF? His age range is now 28 to 45 and it says "divorced".
Whatever....
Yep, I agree with the others, "next"!
