Got my first "keep looking - not interested" response. That stung a little. You know kind of like a mosquito bite. Took me quite a while to work up the nerve to wink in the first place. Oh well. Makes me not wanna wink anymore though.

I thought the blind guy story was funny.

I never said that the blind guy story wasn't funny, it is. And I am not ignoring your posts either. Where I took "offense" was this comment:

<>

You sound very huffy here when all I was saying is that I disagreed and didn't understand. We can agree to disagree but I guess I still don't understand why those are any worse than the generic "we're not a match" since that's vauge too. Oh well, to each her own.

After this go round with eH that is up in 2 weeks, I am done with them. 500 matches and I haven't found a single one worth really dating or that found me worth dating. That's sad. I do think the fill-in-the-blank reason would be a good idea. Maybe they found out that people were using the canned responses more out of simplicity so they took it out?

Yeah just personal preference. Not huffy at all trust me.

I am pretty much not doing online dating at all after this last go around with EHarmony, I think I've reached my limit of BS with the online dating realm. The men are so not interesting, I seem to meet more "interesting" men out in the real world. I will leave my profile up at one of the sites that allows you to talk to them if they email you first but other than that, I just don't have the stamina for online dating. I want to go out have a nice time and see each other again. I'm too old for it. LOL

I'd rather be home working on a scrapbook, hooking up with my friends for hockey games and get togethers. LOL

Maybe it's just our "dating" pool that we can pull from. You are in MA, so you are probably talking to the same ones I do, NH and MA and they just don't put any effort in at all. Honestly 5 years ago there were sincere men doing the online dating, they really were looking for a relationship, now it doesn't seem to be the case.

I just can't believe there can be this many dull, dumb, and desperate people.

Exactly I had this one guy that lived about 40 mins from me. He didn't like to drive on the highway and wanted me to come to him. I told him that I wasn't going to be the only one commuting for the relationship and I didn't see how dating someone who wouldn't drive on the highway was going to work, it was all highway between me and him. Is he going to take some underground railroad I don't know about?

My XBF, who had some MAJOR personality issues, showed up on EH as one of my matches.
