No way. He's pulling at straws. Either that, or EHarmony will pay him just to shut him up.

OMG.... "Claassen, who is seeking $12,000 in civil penalties, said Monday he expects his divorce to be official in about two months, but that he should not have to wait until then to use eHarmony."

He doesn't have to wait. All

LOL, I agree but I think he might win because it is a form of discrimination right?

So this guy can't wait TWO MONTHS??? I don't think he will win! Personally it's a frivolous lawsuit!

Well if he does WIN, then all the gals who are already on eharmony should chat with him and then file a class action suit against eharmony cause the man was still MARRIED! LOL....cracking up!

No it's not discriminatory cause he is not yet divorced. Personally, they should include a 1-2 year waiting period after a divorce. (LOL) Geez, there are plenty other sites out there where there are no restrictions.

Give me a break!! This is frivolous and I would think NWW would agree!!

I agree but my question is what are the chances or odd's he might actually win the case?

I am definitely not an expert, but I don't believe "marital status" is one of your civil liberties as he calls it and cannot be a factor in discrimination.

I don't know I think eharmony might win on this one. They have a right to protect the rest of their clientelle.
