Could somebody please explain the logic as to,
why when men wink at you (and you wink back of course),
why they instantly disappear thereafter ?????

Its happened to me on numerous occasions now and I am just wondering if this has happened to anybody else who is using 'old ' ? LM :)

My guess is....

He winked at several woman. One winked back before you did...he is now communicating with her...and you are placed on the back burner.

Don't take it personal. Just wink back and move on. If one sticks...yeah..if not..find one that will.

I think most of them aren't paying members and can't do anything BUT wink.

They aren't members, cannot email, and are only allowed to wink at the same person once every 30 days. It also gives them an ego boost without having to risk rejection.

Yea, I don't get it either...but like so many things about dating, why ask why??? I just assume that they are not subscribers and are too cheap to join.

I'm with LG, it's an ego boost thing for them. Just think, if they are so immature to "disappear", aren't you glad that they didn't take it any further?

OMG, this has happened to me more times than I can count!!! My all-time favorite is when you actually write them an email WITH your personal email address included (in case they aren't a paying member) and you still never hear from them again. Kinda makes me scratch my head in wonder. But then, the entire Y chromosome species makes me do that anyway.

On Match at least, that no longer works unless you disguise the address...they strip out personal email addresses in emails you send to non-paying members. But LG and I experimented with this a couple months back and you can write your address at something like "write to me at NWW via yahoo" and that won't be stripped out.
