On-line relationships

Gail and I met on line three months ago. It started very simply. I sent her a very short message, and we started chatting. During our second chat session, it seemed as though we had somehow clicked, and conversation or chat if you like, seemed to be a lot more meaningfull and deeper than just idle chat.At this point we made the decision to move from on-line chat to talking on the phone. And as time went on we found so much more in each other, and that we have so much in common. So in this way, we have developed a fantastic relationship..a very serios relationship. Everything about it is , and feels right. And through the power of open and honest communication, we have fallen very much in love. I am in the process of moveing from Scotland to the U.S to be with Gail and to spend the rest of my days with her.

I guess what i am trying to say is this...Sure you have idle chat on the web. But you need to be able to distinguish the difference between idle, and deeper meaningfull chat. As for myself, being a guy, i can see and understand that from a womans standpoint there needs to be some degree of caution. And this caution should be taken....There are some points that I would advise to look out for though, because guys, as I have told Gail, have two heads. unfortunatly, the majority of guys think with, or use the wrong head.

So if you are only able to chat at certain times of the day with a guy, or he will not give you his home number allthough he has yours, and you find he only calls at certain times, this could be a warning that he my be married or involved with someone, and he is only interested in one thing. There has got to be a free flow of communication and open honesty between both of you, to enable you to make the decision to take the relationship further.

Gail and myself have had a number of conversations with each other, about things that one should look out for with on-line relationships. So ...if you would like to know any more about things to look out for im sure Gail will tell you all that we have spoken about.

I hope that this does not scare you away from on-line relationships, but that love can also be found on-line and that on-line relationships are OK.

All the best....Mark

Mark, that was simply the sweetest thing I have ever read. Thank you honey. (Kiss) Okay, so I asked Mark to post about his views concerning on line relationships. It confirms the issues surrounding the article Jen posted today. So, I really hope Mark's post helped to confirm the ideas about Red Flags from a male side of things about on line relationships. Goodluck to all and thanks for letting Mark share his ideas today!
