Match made an image tweak to their interface today and now allows you to remove profiles that you don't want to view (which I think is a pretty good idea - who needs to keep looking at ghosts). Unfortunately these removed profiles still take up screen space and are only replaced with a big gray box.

Maybe for an extra fee Match will let you replace the photo with some hideous cartoon character or freehand draw a mustache on the picture.

Other than that I haven't noticed any changes. There seems to be a good bit of real estate at the bottom of the screen now -- so I'm anticipating that Match is going to so something there with it. Maybe some type of "these are the last x people who viewed your profile" as a way to get people more enthused about contacting others.

Yea! That's excellent...although it makes me wonder if someone who works at Match is lurking here, since I think I raised that suggestion a while back...

Looks like once you remove someone's profile from viewing and log out -- and back in -- that the profile is essentially hidden from your searches. This is a really neat tool. It gives you the ability to get rid of the ghosts and game players so you don't waste any time viewing their pictures time and time and time again.

Would be cool if when you removed someones profile it automatically removed yours from their view.

You don't need to log out/in either. Just reload that search page.

Hey underscore - I was thinking the other day that we hadn't seen you here for a while. Good to see you back!

I noticed this yesterday and I LOVE it!!!

My most recent ex happens to always appear at the top of my searches because of the rotation right now. Everytime I logged on and saw that he was online, I got angry. Yesterday when I saw the new feature, I removed his profile.

Yay!!! Now I no longer have to be reminded that my "Mr. I don't want to be in a relationship" is back online looking for a relationship. :) That alone is worth my $30 bucks a month. :)

On a side note, I really wish they'd bring back the personality and phyiscal attraction matching. I found them to be a pretty accurate assessment.

Uh-oh...you're back on match. I take it that means things didn't work out with the woman you were dating a while back? Bummer...

Yeah, I'm still lurking.

Been trying to make something of a girl I've been dating for over a month now, but it's been tough lately since one of her parents has had medical problems, so she's been tending to that all week and I've only seen her once in the past 2 weeks, and it may be a few more days before I see her again.

I noticed that as a non-paying subscriber I wasn't able to see people's email addy's anymore when they mailed them to me.

So I coughed up the change and joined.

If they aren't, they should be.

I'm sure someone is - probably from each of the OLD sites actually.
