So they've put together a 'step by step guide' to finding your Mr/Ms Right. Anyone care to walk through the steps and discuss your progress here?

"This three-month plan isn’t just for a narrowly defined set of single people. It’s for anyone who’s looking to get back in the game with a distinct advantage.... We’ll help you figure out what’s been holding you back and show you how to take charge of your love life. From learning the lessons past relationships hold and boosting your self-confidence to the actual ins and outs of dating, we’ll give you the advice and support you need.... We have the secrets for you to get exactly what you want quickly and effectively, and it’s all broken down for your ease of use—month by month, week by week. With this guide, you can unlock the door to your future happiness (in fact, you may want to think of this as your master key to love)."

The first week lays out a simple chart to look at past relationships, what happened and help figure out some lessons & patterns. Then they suggest showing it to a friend since another perspective can help clarify some things you might not see yourself. This community is always great for that kind of thing, huh? :) I'm working on mine & I'll post it when I'm ready....

So, they think you should be able to find your perfect match in 90 days? Ask the many thousands of people who have been disappointed by online dating if they think that is possible. After 7 months of OLD with no real success, all I can think of is that they are getting some heat for some of the legal problems they've had in recent months. I got sick of the e-harmony commercials on TV a long time ago. I have to wonder how many horror stories there are from that web site because they are only going to talk about their subscribers who are getting married in any ads.

Interesting! Let us know how it goes. Is this included with a match membership or is it extra $? I like the concept, you can learn a lot from re-examining old relationships. Good luck with it!

Well, if those many thousands of people can take a step back and figure out WHY it hasn't been working out, they still might not find Mr/Ms Perfect, but at least they might have a better chance at it.

How do you access the "guide"?

If you have it set up to automaticaly log you in, click in the upper right on the "advice: happen mag" link. Then click the "match.com" link in the upper right. That should give you the link to the guide. It's goofy, they really should put a more direct link to it. However, if you're not already logged in, it shows up right away when you go to match.com. It makes *some* sense since they're using it as a hook to get new members. Annoying though. Let us know if that works for you?

May work for a few, but a lot of people have deep problems that can't be helped this easy.

You're 100% right. Hopefully the people with deeper issues recognize that and will seek out therapy or counseling. I don't think there's a fix for every person, but sometimes
