HI Linda,

"Two great minds with the same great thought"--or cupcake that, it is: "2 Greats"! Plus, lots of other great minds here to talk to, Thank Goodness! :)

I am in the same place with my first date from Saturday night. Not a Thing wrong with the man; looks the closest to any Yet, like his photos; very distinguised,6 feet for true(I like em tall!), he is a bit skinny for me, I like some football shoulders to hug on to, but... nicely dressed, good manners, sense of humor and easy to chat with. Could tell he liked me, and he has expressed an interest in emails since then to get together again, but no exact date yet. But...I just did Not feel that "3..2...1...Ignition..Houston, we have a lift-off!". I would go out with him again...true that the 'hurtling meteor' of sexual attraction Does burn out quickly...maybe a good, slow smoulder might be Just the thing for us?

Man even had my dream car and said I can drive it next time....

Keep us posted....and on the boob thing...LIKE my friends would not Know they were fake if I showed up with some 34 C's on this 5 foot frame!!! Awwwwww, man! :P

Truly,
Cupcake

Hi Linda,

Mine did the same--he did email twice about getting together, but then has not made any plans yet. It Is only Wednesday, but by tommorrow, I will have my weekend on the roll, so he better load his guns now!

When I had been doing OLD for about 2 weeks (end of this summer), I was SO adamant about the honesty issue with profiles, I went back to mine with a Fine tooth comb. Was it all true? Yeppers, it is!

I am perplexed because, often, SO many of the things will be seen almost Immediately upon meeting someone, so first off, you are dealing with a "hmmmm..he lied about..." feeling and have to go from there. I have a feeling people are trying to make themselves more 'marketable'. Just as, when I was a child, there was a Lot more creme filling in Twinkies, the ones I used to buy my sons when they liked them as younger kids had about 1/3 of that amount....false advertising? No, it just says "creme filling", where as a man in the latter stages of balding is Not "full head of hair"!

To be honest, I do not Mind someone balding, normal build/few extra pounds, or even a little older...so why Begin like that at All?! Give me a chance to use MY integrity, thank ya very much!

Good luck,I have 3 more ready for takeoff as of now.....whether they Make it to the jetline is 'Anutha story, Miss Scahlett!'

Truly,
Cupcake

I don't get why they even bother saying it if they're not gonna do it. And if they say it, they should do it. How hard can it be? That would piss me off more than his height (which I'm still on the fence about but leaning towards just tell the dang truth).

do you know how really tall you are? gosh I have not measured myself, what if I shrunk and put the wrong height? does that make me a liar? I don't know maybe I am 5'2, or 5'3 or even 5'2 1/2... I dont know I guess I dont really look at someone as being a liar that puts the wrong height, but of course if it is way way off then they could be exaggerating a bit much, but an inch here or there, I guess i could live w/that. I agree w/ Amjay some people have such a complex w/it , maybe they have trouble seeing it on paper. kind of like weight? not boobs. I guess never had that problem, lieing about my boob size , or thought of that.??

i think i would have more of a problem w/someone saying they are going to call and fu w/ another date and don't.. of course there could be a valid excuse, got busy . all that but i don't like when they are fishing around for a day /date and then never get back. I mean to me that is just rude.! don't bother saying anything if you don't plan on calling again.

Well, I have to say that this guy obviously did know exactly how tall he was.
