Monday Madness.....

I would like to take this time to set aside a post for all complaints, or madness going on in your day already. Personally, I am just tired as all get out. My saturday night with the girls, did not turn out like I expected at all. A few of my closest friends didnt get to come due to other plans or simply wires being crossed. I personally, was the only mother in the group, therefore when I was ready to go at 1 am, no one else was. SO, I was simply ignored and had to stay until everyone was ready. It was not cool. So, one of my friends, that did not make it, seemed sort of mad at me for calling her so late when it was time to go out. I tried to explain to her, that I wasnt really running the show anymore and that others had taken over when it was time to decide on where to go and what to do. I just know I will not be going out with those two girls again. I probably will not go out, for a while. Anywho. That night sort of put me in a funk. Since I feel I wasted my time and money on a night that didnt go as planned. Oh, well..lesson learned. lol So, anywho. I am here at work. Just kinda here, alittle tired. Took my boys bowling lastnight. We arrived home alittle late for a school/work nite. SO....I really didnt get to talk to Mark all that much this weekend. That sucks. SO, I am hoping to talk with him at lunch or tonight. Well, thats my vent session. I am going to rejuvinate myself this coming weekend, by going shopping and visitin my friend Jennifer, that didnt get to go out Saturday night. I told her I would make it up to her. Any ideas? WEll, I am going to get her something and take it to her Saturday after shopping. I just feel bad that Saturday night got so out of my hands before I realized it. I just hope she doesnt stay upset with me for too long. Anywho. Im funky. Sorry ladies. Anyone else funky today? For those of you, that arent funky, please help to de-funk all of us that are! lol lol

I'm just sick of school period!!! Between school and my babysitting job I'm only home Sundays....I can't wait until school is over, only 2 more weeks then 1 day of finals...yea, they are ALL on the same day...I have to be on campus from 10-7...so I'll be gone from 9-8 (its an hour drive) UGH! Plus, the school I'm transferring too in the fall is screwing me over with credits...I have about 60 and they only want to transfer 27 of them! I just lost a whole year of college! I'm sooo mad, at this rate I'll be in college for another 3-4 years...after I've already done 2 years. I'm so frustrated and I don't even want to go to college anymore AGH!!!

Well, Lindsay...that does suck big ones. Jeez. Cant you talk to the Dean at the college. That is alot of wasted time on your part if they cant transfer most of them. I would talk to someone about that. Or, not transfer at all. That is not cool. Wasted time and money the way it seems to me. Someone should be able to help you out with that. Anywho. Sorry you are stressed. I have since spoken to my Gf, and she is cool. I talked to her about doing something this weekend. She is going to see if she can hang with me or go shopping. I feel better knowing she isnt mad at me. WHEW! lol Nothing like a best friend mad to make you have a crappy morning. All better. Hope it works out for you. It will be over soon. Later!

I'm a day late with this...lol. My bad day actually started almost 2 weeks ago, but I haven't had a chance to vent about it yet. Hope now is okay.

The bus that my 3 younger children ride to school was involved in an accident on the 18th. Another bus hit ours from behind. Only my daughter was on it at the time, thankfully, but she now has a broken shoulder as a result. This means she can't compete on the track team for the rest of the year. She had accomplished so much this year and was just asked to compete on the high school level (she's in 9th grade and still in jr. high) at the state competition in a few weeks. She's so disappointed. The thing that upsets me the most is that the bus driver who hit our bus wasn't even ticketed for the accident. It was a mulitple injury accident, with 4 children taken to the ER. It just infuriates me. We're taking it before the school board in 2 weeks, but we live in such a small town and are still new here so I don't look for much to happen. On top of this, she was supposed to go on a trip out of state with a local church group last Wed. and couldn't because of her injury. The van that the group was riding in was rear ended by a drunk driver causing a serious accident in which one of my daughter's best friends was killed. This happened the day before his 15th birthday. All of the children were injured and the boy's father, who was driving, isn't expected to live, either. I never thought I'd say that I was glad my daughter was hurt, but if she hadn't been in the other accident, she would have gone on this trip and it could have turned out so much worse.

Now we're preparing for a funeral for a bright, intelligent child that was taken from this world much too soon. It's just such a terrible tragedy.

Thanks for listening...

Dear God, Melissa. Can anyone drive a bus in that town? Sounds to me like you are right about one thing. If your daughter had not been injured in the first incident, she may not be alive. I am sorry for the loss in your community and am glad your daughter is okay. She will get her second chances at all school activities, the child who died wont. Be thankful.

What a horrible and senseless tragedy!! I'm so sorry that had to happen, my thoughts and prayers go out to that young boy and his family and to you and your family for a speedy recovery for your daughter and to help her get through this! Hugs!!
