Please laugh at me.

Eligible bachelor #1 - 23, divorced, four kids, no college, asked if I am a flight attendant, told me I wasn't old enough to be a pilot, and called me a liar when I said I was.

Eligible bachelor #2 - Screamed obscenities at me when I told him I wasn't interested in dating him because he lives too far away (Denison, Vex! I mean, SERIOUSLY!)

Eligible bachelor #3 - Asked me if I was into certain sexual acts that will go unnamed here.

Eligible bachelor #4 - Started the conversation by asking what church I go to. Yeah, I want a Christian guy, but can't we start with "Nice to meet you?"

Edited to add the newest -

Former Army guy who said all sorts of non-TOS stuff about my brother when I said that my brother is a Marine Corps officer. Great way to impress a girl, insult her family. lol

And that was just tonight!

LOL, kitty!!

I love hearing the success stories on this board but I myself am just about done with OLD. And yahoo has been a real disappointment for me this time around. Total waste of money.

#1 - Actually, he got divorced at 19, is 23 now. Umm...can we say, "uses poor jugement"? No idea where the kids all came from No one is THAT busy.

#2 - Great idea! Maybe I'll start looking in OK :-)

#5 - Actually was angry that my brother is an officer and he's not. That's not unsual, actually, and I use the fact that my family members are all officers to weed out the guys (and friends) who have class issues. But this time I was just saying! And you must know military people, because you were DEAD ON with your comments, lol.

I am not seeing much new on yahoo since the last time I was active on it. My profile is now hidden once again because I simply cannot deal with it right now.

I did correspond via messenger and a phone call with a guy recently who actually lived too far away from me to date (we did talk about the distance factor). Seems he also has a lot of women messaging him since he has put his profile online, so it sounds like I would have a lot of competition anyway. He talked about his last relationship which ended when he started to ask her what household "chores" she would be willing to do if they ever married or moved in together. Apparently, she was insulted by his question. Upon delving further into what was in his mind by asking her such a thing, I found out that he's apparently more of a "neat freak" than what I would have wanted regardless. Perhaps that woman picked up on that and thought she would have to be a maid in order to win his heart over. That made me think about some traits that I would want and not want if and when I ever meet anyone else....

I do not want a slob, but I also do not want a guy who is a lot better housekeeper than I am. My last guy also abhored "recycling". Our local trash collector picks up recycling once a week (free), so most people should have very little real trash to set out. Guess recycling is the thing that I am "anal" about. Anyway, that was the only argument we ever really had. I think if I re-write my profile, I will put "must love recycling" or something witty like that. They don't have to be just like me, but at least not be so against it that it ends up in an argument. But he had other "issues" besides not recycling. sigh...
