My dating escapades...

Hi everyone,

I haven't been posting as much lately, but have been kind of busy with vacation and weekend things also - going on a girls canoeing weekend Friday through Monday, so I'm looking forward to that!

But here is my dating update:

M the Banker (commercial loans) - he is the guy I went out with before my last relationship (the possible commitment phobe guy), and we started seeing each other again about a month ago after my breakup. We have been having scheduling difficulties with his vacation and mine, but have managed to work some dates in here and there and he continues to call me. This is the guy I like the best and who I feel I have the most chemistry with, but who has the busiest life and I'm not sure if he even has time for a lady in his life really. He is also moving now - will be only about 8 miles from me which will be nice. M has a lot of sex appeal, great smile and great bod. We are meeting for dinner Monday night. He is divorced and has two younger boys.

S the CPA - Have had 2 dates with him and he is very nice, great conversationalist, great manners and very polished. Not as cute as M, but more worldly. He loves wine as I do, but then so does M above! He has two younger teen girls who are having issues with their mom (his ex) now and are staying at his place now, which has put a damper on his dating some. He calls regularly and we are planning to meet next week after I get back.

I had two new meets this past week, and both were OK guys but not someone I'd like to continue dating. One I had talked to and IM'd a couple of times and I thought there were possibilities for, but alas, no chemistry upon meeting. But that's the way it goes an why I don't talk to them too much before meeting.

D the Lawyer/almost Doctor - Haven't met him yet, but have had a couple of phone conversations with him and he is very interesting and seems nice. We have medical background in common also, which he likes. He works long hours at the hospital, but is close to completing his boards and his residency. I like his intelligence and he seems to be a compassionate person. He plans to combine the two careers and has stated he is looking more for long term, yet he doesn't seem deperate which is nice. He calls about every two days and we are trying to meet one day! No kids or ex, but then I consider possible commitment issues!!!

I also have a few guys that I am in the initial stages of emailing with on Match, which I just rejoined with a revamped profile that states a long term relationship could be possible with the right person. I am not getting nearly as many of the casual guys now, which is good that it has weeded them out, since I am more interested in a possible long term thing, yet it is bringing the 55 and older crowd out alot (who want to take care of me!), which I'm not interested in - feels too much like my Dad!

And just for a laugh, I was online last night and got an IM from a couple (man and woman) looking for a third partner, and they thought I was lovely and could handle the emotional aspects of a threesome! I passed on that one! Block! Then maybe 10 minutes later I got an IM on my Yahoo messenger again from a guy who just said: Cyber Sex? I blocked that one also! I still have my profile up on Yahoo Personals but am not a paying member anymore, but that's how they find me I guess to IM me, even when I am not logged onto the Yahoo personals site it appears that I am if I have my Yahoo Messenger on. So I then signed off for the night!

But the majority of the guys above are about 4 to 5 years younger or my same age, which seems good. So that's it for now. I am starting a new job search and will be moving probably in about 3 months which will also keep me busy.

I hope the girls and I have good weather for the canoe trip. I'm sure I'll be ready to rest from partying and paddling when I get home Monday. I hope everyone has a great weekend and good luck with those meets! Sorry this got so long, but I guess I had to make up for my absence! Take care...

Thanks for the update, I was wondering how things were going for you!

BTW, you can change your preferences on Yahoo so that you don't appear online to anyone except people on your buddy list. I did that and never get bothered by out of the blue IMs anymore even though I have a profile on Yahoo Personals.
