Hi everyone. Just checking in, hoping to learn from all of you. 2 big questions first, what service do you use? Trying to figure out which ones are better. Second, and I have been debating this with friends of mine. What would you consider to be the definitions of "Full Figured" and "Big and Beautiful"???

Thanks!

Hi NGOL,

Once again, I am impressed by your ability to convey your thoughts on 'paper'!

You are right, only WE are to blame for our actions. What I am saying is that the media are the ones who designate "True Cool" and we, as a society, rush to keep up with that ideal. Some of the trends in clothing, as example, and we see people, from all walks of life, running out to buy them so they Too will 'fit in'.

MY sons bought me a small fridge magnet, it is my favorite: "Who says I Want to fit in!?"
ie, be the "One" you Want to be!

Completely agree that we need to be more healthy in a Healthy way; ie, all of the millions of 'diet' products on the market--"Miracle cures" (not!). In Walley World (W'Mart) last week and a lady asked me what "worked" of those (TrimSpa, Relacore, yadda, yadda...)as I was looking for vitamins nearby. My answer: "NONE of them do, YOU do the work!".

Also agree with CGUN; I have two teen sons and they might exercise a bit more, and eat a little better than some of their peers because of what I buy to bring in this house. But...what happened to the days when we used to get on our bikes and be Gone all day!? I think, sadly, that 'society' happened, and it is not as safe out there for our children any longer. Or more, it was the same back then, but we were not as Aware, so not as fearful of it all.

As a nation, we need to CARE about our health more for the Right reasons...to Live Longer Lives!!!

I did see when Beyonce and J'Lo came out with bigger "booty", that all of a sudden, being "bootylicious" became the Way! I applaud that! Look at Gretchen Wilson (C&W), they told her 3 years ago that her look was 'outdated' and she was overweight. She now says "I am that same Outdated, Overweight person I was, today, but y'all Love me". Yes, because she has a great voice and is a fun entertainer--we Finally learned what was Important there.

THAT is what we need to do more of!

"You don't have to be perfect, you just have to be perfect for Each Other"!

Truly,
Cupcake

Hi CGUN,

I agree, I think Gretchen is adorable and in good shape! What I AM glad for is that country music has an icon that is not "bone skinny" ( my brother says it is like going to bed with a 10 speed bicycle! lol!), and hope that women everywhere will Feel her power and be Happy with who They are, too! I was just quoting what she said on a CMT interview; basically, that "they" could bite her cute biker girl a**!!!

I do not like "skinny" men--Brad Pitt, while pretty, is too skinny for the Cupcake, I like a 'footbal player' build on a man--shoulders I can Grab on to!

Amen, UP in the house!

truly,
Cupcake
