Ok, I was talking to the guy that I "met" last week, last night. I had to hang up kind of quick cuz my kids wouldnt go to bed. But it got me thinking, there is definately a flow problem with the conversation on the phone. So now I'm wondering if there will be a flow problem in person, or am I really just over analyzing things. I'm also worried that I'm putting all my eggs in one basket so I've been surfing around a bit looking at other ads, but to be honest I've only seen one that interested me, and after reading his profile again, I'm thinking he's an egomaniac. Wow, I'm really batting a 1000 on this. Anyway, thanks for the input

Don't worry about the phone conversation - many people are just not great phone conversationalists. Or he might have sensed you were distracted and so didn't really know what to say. Wait until you meet in person to make any real judgements about how conversation goes. A phone conversation is not necessarily an indicator of how they will be in person. Meet him and see how it goes!

Do you honestly think that talking on the phone with a total stranger is a fair representation of what your conversation will be like in person? I know those conversations make me VERY uncomfortable, personally...it's totally normal to have gaps in the conversation, IMO. Unless you have other reasons not to meet him, I'd just meet for coffee and see how it goes. It's just coffee ;-)!!!

If the guy's hot when you meet him who cares whether he can hold a conversation.

Yup. In bars where hot youngsters with other-than-conversational-skills hang out.

Oh, are you sure you got the right name for the club? Shouldn't that be cougar, not coyote? Well, in my case anyway!

LOL - yeah, the bar's name is Coyote, but there's a fair share of cougars present. ROFLOL
