OK I bit the bullet and posted on match

I finally started seeing women who I have not seen before. I have been on-and-off Match since I was divorced 7 yrs ago (yikes!). I still see some of the same women on there when I first started looking. I decided to get a month's subscription because a couple of new women are on that look interesting to me. This is the year I got a new job that I hope to retire in and hopefully a life partner.
Feel free to check me out and give me feedback (gulp). I'm joyouspirit in Portland, Oregon area.

I thought the picture was great--you look happy and fit. I also thought the profile was written well. I didn't notice any typos.
Good Luck--I have really had the best luck from Match. I am sure you will too.
Have a wonderful day : )

Thanks for the feedback. I felt my first profile was too generic, e.g. that I'm honest, kind, blah, blah, blah. I re-worded it and hoped it was more distinctive and more "me." I think I need to continue to refine it as I get more rejections LOL.

Your profile looks great! Love all of the pictures. You look like a truly happy and easy-going guy that really enjoys life. Best of luck!!!!

I think it is awesome!!!! You should switch your primary photo with the outdoor shot, white shirt. The photo with you in front of the fireplace has a little glare on your glasses and makes you look a bit small in the head/hard to see your face.
Fix the last sentence in your bit about education.
I would totally date you if I were a bit older. TOTALLY!
I like the profile, but then I'm not exactly your intended audience. ;)
SO cute you are!
Thanks Guy!
Guess that says a LOT!

Thanks Dani! That is what I want to convey so I guess I am successful .. at least to you!

Thanks for the nice feedback. It was important to me to be able to convey my personality and character. I appreciate that specific feedback. I was on eharmony as well. I found it not any different despite all their levels of interest matching it goes thru.
