Sara men aren't looking for "friends" on a dating website. If you want to network and meet friends try networking websites such as friendster. If you are on a dating website then most people are looking for sex, or a relationship.

All you have to do is click on the link next to (in response too) and it will tell you which post I was responding too. It was post 16 in which you wrote " But ya know what...that SW did not see anything wrong with making some friends of men online. LOL!"

Which is what I responded with that you don't make "friends" with men on dating sites.

I know she knew it was a dating site and I'm saying you still don't make friends on dating sites. They are for "DATING" if you want to network for friends check out networking sites such as Friendsters. I'm just speaking in general that if you are not ready to date and are just looking for friends, try a networking website rather than the dating websites.

Is the guy you are meeting tonight the same guy who asked if he could come over to your place, or you go to his during your first or second online convo? If so, that would be a red flag to me. He could be looking for one thing and since he knows you are dealing with issues right now, he may see you as vulnerable and easy prey. I would really reconsider meeting him right now. Wait until you're in a better place to meet someone and don't meet someone who suggests coming to your place or his before ever meeting in a public place. Men who suggest that usually only have one thing in mind. JMHO...

Good Luck!
