OLD and Coworkers

I guess it's because my town is fairly small and my employer is one of the biggest employers in town, but I am getting a little creeped out by how many people that are connected to my work have popped up on OLD. The other day I was at a meeting and one of the guys looked familiar--after a while I realized it was someone I had "winked" at on Match last summer who had ignored me. Very embarrassing. (Has this happened to anyone else?)

Sean-the-lunch-guy is a sort of work connection too, since he works for a company that works for/with us.

And now I got a Yahoo match from a guy in an entry-level position in a department in my same division!

I'm not sure whether I should answer him, ignore him, or just drop out of OLD altogether.

The guy is just a year older than I am, reasonably good looking, a bit plump (but so am I) and his profile is witty. If he were not employed by my company, I'd be okay with meeting him. He sounds like we could be a good match.

Even if we were both employed by the same company, if we were on the same level (more or less) I'd probably date him anyway. I have already dated a co-worker that I didn't meet through OLD. But this guy is a 52-year-old in a position meant for 20-somethings. (It's not a hard and fast rule--I started at that level at age 39-- but 52??) It could be very awkward.

So I think I ought to either ignore him or send him a polite, "Hi, I know you didn't recognize me, but we are co-workers and it wouldn't be appropriate to date."

On the other hand, I don't have that many guys interested in me whom I am interested in. Sean the lunch guy is sweet, but either he just sees me as a friend or his idea of dating is very different from mine.

What should I do? Turn down the guy because we work for the same company?
Meet the guy because he seems interesting and I don't have a long list of prospects?
Get a disguise and start dating from a different city?

Has anyone else encountered three OLD guys in her real life within a MONTH?
