I'd like to create a summary of sorts that gives a basic review of the most commonly used online dating sites and post it on our website.
If you all don't mind...could you list the dating site that you use and just provide a point form list of pros and cons of the site.

I know exactly what you mean. I've only met 3 folks on Match.com in the last 7 months. I've tried to change my profile, add different pictures, and no one finds me appealing. :) Maybe I need someone to review my profile and give me tips.
I've tried all of the boards that have been talked about:
Yahoo.com: Very limited criteria for matching. Their new personality test feels a little degrading - I'm a Champion Romantic - makes me sound like a Desperate Housewife who's head is in the clouds. No way to delete it, so there you have it. :)
True.com: Interesting site - unfortunately, while they do screen for married folks in their database...all it takes is a single "no way, I'm divorced" and they allow you through the chat screen. Granted, there is a rather large disclaimer stating if you lie they can prosecute. I was divorced in June '04 and the database still pulled up the ex-husband - a fact that made me absolutely angry. When I contacted True customer service I received a reply that a 3rd grader could have written. I'll never go back.
Lavalife.com: Yes, indeed...seemed geared toward casual relationships. Those folks I've talked to were actually a little weird.
Americansingles.com: Hate having to put my weight in there. People judge based on weight - when I say: "I'm 240lbs" they automatically think BLIMP. But hey...I have curves and I think I'm pretty sexy. BUT...the number is a stigma. LOL
Perfectmath & E-Harmony: What a waste of time. I agree with the poster who said that the personality assessments were pretty close, but I also had several folks just close me out. Made me wonder how accurate the matching criteria was - some of the men I was matched with were SO much different than what I was looking for.
Looking at all those boards makes me feel like I'm desperate - *sigh* Cheers! :)
