Apart from functionality and price, what else makes people subscribe to different dating sites?

What makes one better than another?

Hi Hal,
For me, I have decided on eharmony based on a couple of different things. I am interested in a serious relationship,(not a series of dating foibles) and the site is specifically designed with that in mind. There are more women there than men, so men can get overwhelmed with matches from what I am told. For me, I have older children messing around on the computer and I don't want to be browsed. That can not be done on eharmony.I do not have a long term relationship going on yet, and I suspect it will take a lot of perseverence in any case. I have done a couple of free trials on other sites, but they have been worth what I spent.... :). I had a membership to friendfinder awhile ago, and had fun there, too.
Good luck to you.
