Hi, OLD is so confusing at times. I recently signed back up with Match and have received some winks and out of the blue emails. However, when I try to make contact with someone new I frequently get No Response. With the emails I usually try to tie something personal about their profile in there so they know it's not just the picture and that I read what they had to say. Is there another approach I should be taking? Here's an example of what I may write.
Critiques are welcome!
Hello,
Just wanted to send a short message saying that I enjoyed reading your profile...it seems like we have many of the same interests - music, ACC basketball and just hanging out with friends. You sound like a lot of fun. After reading my profile, if you're interested, I'd like to hear from you.
Hope you're having a great weekend.
John
I've sent alot of these but personalized to each woman and the response has been close to zilch. I don't think I'm trying out of my league either. Should I make them longer or what?

Yes, that would be my guess. I would email him again, and say something like "you can contact me at firstamendment at yahoo."
I'm of two minds about whether people can be serious and not be subscribers. I can see your point...but then I know that I'm serious, but I usually pay for a month at a time, then take a couple months off. So he might be doing the same type of thing. Why not take a chance?

Done.
