Perfect Match?

It was in the article I just posted, so I thought I'd give it a try...but I was totally turned off by their "can't do anything on this site unless you subscribe for megabucks" approach.

Is my impression correct...that you can't even do searches without subscribing? Has anyone spent the megabucks and joined? What has your experience been?

I spent the megabucks, take it from me, don't waste your time. The guys on that site are just as creppy as all the other sites. You're better off joining a cheeper site, save your money.

Back when I tried the site you could do searches without paying...

There weren't any better guys on that site, though...I wouldn't spend megabucks on it.

I haven't done Perfect Match, but I think Match.com leaves something to be desired as there seems to be VERY few new profiles put on within any given month. I've only corresponded with ONE guy from that site, and he is the one who apparently has "ghosted" on me again. We talked about meeting and then his messages started to dwindle. We were talking online almost daily and even had a couple phone calls, then he's suddenly never online. I've basically written him off at this point. There have been maybe 2 more guys who sent "winks", but I was not interested in either of them. My subscription runs out at the end of the week and I'm not going to re-subscribe again.
