I'm wondering what everyone's opinions are here and also, what you describe yourself as...
On the sites, when you see people who list themselves as having a few extra pounds, being large or being thick, what are the differences to you? How do you list yourself?

Well you’re better off, he was not only rude and insensitive but apparently feels the need to put someone down to make himself feel better - his underlying character is not a good soul.
I agree that BMI is pretty unreliable for people who are muscular. Recently at my 5 year old Son's checkup, the nurse weighed and measured him and calculated his BMI. She came back in and said she must have made a mistake, she wrote down 48 pounds, but it must be 38. Apparently his BMI was in the 95th percentile, making him technically overweight, but she was sure by looking at him that he wasn't overweight. Well of course he really did weigh 48 pounds, but just has a lot of muscle, he doesn't look the slightest bit chubby even.
I don't know the body type always confuse me too, I never know what to put for myself. I do think the photo says more than the classification, but people search by the classification too, they may exclude people who mark a certain body type.
LOL...
He just wrote me back and said, "I think I made a mistake in my email. I meant percent body fat, not BMI."
LOL!
If your middle finger touched your thumb, you were medium. If your middle finger went beyond your thumb, you were small.
My middle finger touches my thumb but goes beyond by about a 1/4 of an inch - so am I medium small or small medium LOL ;-) it's like that size 5, odd size, ha!
I've read that the way to tell is by measuring around your wrist...but you'd have to do a google search or something to find out which measurements are what frame size.
