Hi everyone,

I have written a new profile and I would like you to critique it before I post it. Please be nice. :-) My old can be viewed under match.com Username: prcbaby814 Also, I am changing the headline as well which I will include in hear as well. I am not too excited on the headline that I came up with so if you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks. Pat

Headline: Southern Girl seeking Strong Man.

While I live in Maryland I am just a southern girl at heart. Originally from Virginia, I was taught early on to enjoy the simple things in life as equally as you would your big accomplishments. Some of the best times that I have had have been simply taking walks in the park with my mom or sitting on the front porch of my grandmother's house listening to her stories and life experiences. As you can see, family is very important to me. I would not have accomplished what I have without their love and support. I am a generally shy person and would venture to say that I am a listener more so than a talker. However, that does not mean I do not have strong opinions or beliefs and believe me I am not afraid to voice them. :) Being in Western Maryland, I am very close to Washington D.C. as well as the Baltimore area so I enjoy doing a wide variety of activities such as taking a day trip to the Smithsonian Institute or going to the Improv to catch a comedy show. During the summer, I enjoy going to the Inner Harbor in downtown Baltimore. One of my favorite things to do is to play tennis. While I am no Serena Williams, I have greatly improved over the past three years that I have taken up the sport.:) I do enjoy listening to virtually all genres of music. One minute I could be listening to Usher's "Confessions" then next minute I could be listening to Tim McGraw's "Live like you were Dying". I have that same varying taste in movies as well except I do not do horror movies. I would have my eyes covered the entire time and when the movie was over I would not even be able to tell you what it was about. I just recently begun teaching Sunday School at my church. The students are in the kindergarten and 1st grade so needless to say they keep me on my toes. :) However, it one of things that I look most forward to in my week. While I teach Sunday School on the weekends, during the week, I am an accountant for a non-profit organization. I truly enjoy what I do and the people work with. Howevery, my ultimate goal is to start my own accounting firm, which I am in the process of working on.

So, what am I looking for in my ideal match? Boy, where do I begin? :) I am looking for my best friend. Someone that I can share any and everything with from my hopes and dreams to my fears. Likewise, they could expect the same from me. I would like someone who enjoys going out whether it is to dinner and a movie or to a Washington Wizards game (yes, I am a huge basketball fan). Now, that does not mean that we cannot spend a quiet evening at home just enjoying each other's company. :) I am a very laid back kind of gal and I am looking for someone who is as equally laid back. My ideal match would be gentle and mild mannered but strong when the need arises. Honesty is the most important quality that I am looking for in another person. If you are direct and honest then you will have a good foundation for building a strong healthy relationship. I would like to meet someone who has strong convictions but is able to respect another's viewpoint. My ideal match would also set goals for himself and also not be afraid of going after those goals. I can be kind of silly at times so a good sense of humor is a plus. :)

The most important aspect in my life is my fatih in Jesus Christ. I would like to find someone who shares that same faith.

First, nice pictures - you need a full length one.

Secondly, read the other female profiles -- and every time you see a phrase used by more than one other person - take it out of your profile.

You're going to do well in the Match beauty contest but you'd do even better canning what I call "chick chatter" -- "Some of the best times that I have had have been simply taking walks in the park with my mom or sitting on the front porch of my grandmother's house listening to her stories and life experiences." -- because they seem to slide into everyone's profile.

Is there something unique that you think people your age would identify with?

I know I'm starting to have trouble finding my car when I come out of the gym in the morning. Makes me fee older. I'm not bad enough that I've had to call the police or have a passerby help look - but I chuckle about it every morning. Those are the type of really stupid stories that I think people online identify with. (Ok so maybe this is a bad example - but with a few hundred re-writes the story might be funny...)

"I just recently begun teaching Sunday School at my church. The students are in the kindergarten and 1st grade so needless to say they keep me on my toes. :) "

Ok-Dokey - you just missed an opportunity to pass along something funny or unique about this that would catch someones attention. Do the kids ever do or ask anything funny?

Personally, if you don't want to change the wording I'd just cut it in half and can the chick chatter. Your pics will carry it.

My *deal* is that I have total recall of 75 legal files, but I can't seem to leave my apartment without running back for something (like my keys maybe? DOH!)

Thank you for the input and the compliment, LG. I was wondering if I was getting a little too wordy with it. Do you think I should just simply state that I am close to my family or should I try giving an example. Also, do you think my examples are too much (such as with the type of music that I listen to or places I like to go)?

The only really funny story that I have thus far about my Sunday class is that I had one little boy jump off the desk pretending he was Superman when I was writing something on the board. Should I include that? Pat
