Polite way to say not interested

Not sure what to do - I've never even talked to this guy, but he keeps sending me messages on Lavalife. I wouldn't mind, but I keep getting excited when I see I have messages, and it's usually this one guy. I don't want to reply, because then he has to pay (I think) but I'm getting tired of it. Is there any way to let him know he can stop messanging me or am I stuck with him untl he gets tired or it?

On lavalife if you reply to someone's email it is free. I think that if he is not going to leave you alone, then politely tell him that you aren't interested. I had someone do that to me on Dreammates.

Well, he's messanging me. If I'm correct, you only have to pay to message someone if they message you back, right? That's why I don't want to reply, I don't want him to waste his credits on me not being interested.

No on Lava you pay only for the first message. if you reply it s Free for both of you and if he resends it is still free. The idea is that the first contact is charged everything else is free. That's why he keeps messaging. He is probably thinking maybe if he insists you will eventually answer.
I find it rude if people send more than 2 msgs without replies. You can block him if you want, this way he wont see your profile but I would reply to him saying thnx but I dont think we are a match... good luck
dont worry he already wasted the 6 credits when he sent the first message. but I think it the senders responsibility kuz Lava allows you to send smiles for free. so it is better to test the waters b4 you send a message.

You are too nice. You are not responsible for what he does with his credits. That's his problem. Either reply and say you are not interested and/or just block him.

"Not interested. Thanks anyway."

Who cares if he has to pay? If he's sent more than one message without you replying, it's obnoxious and he SHOULD have to pay.

Ok, ok, I'm too nice!

I'll let him know he's wasting his time.
