Would you date someone online just for fun, curiosity or even for an experiment????

Let's say you are goin to date him online for 4 months, all cards out, you will tell everything about you, you clik and hit off well, you got close to each other to the point that he is already fallin' for you. And in the end you will drop the bomb tellin him your sorry and that you're only doin it just for fun (somethin out of curiosity or only tryin to see if he gets to your bait.)

**yes, I can talk for fun maybe one or 2 chats ..but NOT for months -to the point i will fool him, no i would never do that. I believe in Karma and i don't want bad things will return my way. Someone's feelin will be hurt and i don't want that to happen to me too. And it's just a waste of time!

What's your opinion on this.? Share with us.

Good day everyone!

jen, I would have to agree with you here. I would not string someone along for months, maybe a few chats here and there, but if things seemed to be getting serious for either person, I would say no. I would not want to play with someone's emotions that way, knowing I would dump them. I am just not that coldhearted. No matter how fun it may be, nothing is worse then stomping on someone's heart. Not cool.

Hi,

I couldn't do it either. I'm a very honest person with a very guilty conscience. I can't even tell little white lies without feeling terrible. So no, I'd never be able to do something like this .. not even for a day, much less for months.

I totally agree with the others. I am completely incapable of telling a lie and besides that, I could never play with someone's emotions. Having email pals, sure, but letting them believe there was more to it, never.

I guess I have a different take on it.

I wouldn't talk to someone for months and months online without meeting them in person. To me, it's not a good use of time. I like real life interaction so much better.

And in real life, yup, EVERY date I had was "just for fun" until I was in an exclusive relationship. Unless I know someone well, what would be the point of getting all serious? I dated a ton of men, and it was fun and interesting, because I kept things light, non-pysical, and flexible. A good, quality guy will quickly distinguish himself from the pack, and then you can decide on your further plans.

I don't consider on line interactions to be dating but no I would not chat with someone just for fun who had romantic feelings for me - would be hard to look at myself in the mirror - even with concealer under my eyes, LOL.
