Question about Emails/Phone Calls
| Thu, 11-17-2005 - 12:38pm |
OK, here is my first official question for everybody. I have a totally hot guy from match that emailed me. We have alot of interests in common, but I just keep picturing him with this big chested blonde. I am a very down to earth/girl next door brunette. Not to mention a single mom.
Anyway, he emailed me short email and I responded with a short one myself. I told him I had a few questions first, such as how long he had been divorced. He responded with "I would love to talk to you on the phone, I don't do the pen pal thing. Give me a call."
I think it is kinda pushy. Opinions please.
Thanks,
Stephanie

I agree with Teri on this. I do the same thing when it comes to composing emails. I torture the thing to death. As punishing as it is to make that first call, I find the telephone to be much more efficient and honest. I'm also one of the minority here who prefers to make that first call. I like having the control over where and when. I get a little panicky when they call me first and won't answer the phone. Maybe I'm a freak...LOL
Another note: my last OLD boyfriend was one of those one fingered typists, used all caps and avoided punctuation. Typing an email really was a chore for him.
Just my two cents...
