So I've still not written my ad to put up yet, and I haven't had any recent (or decent) photos taken, BUT I am wondering whether any of you found that it is really important to put what you are looking for in your profile - not the multiple choice sections that are on some of the site, but actually write into the 'essay portion' specific criteria that you're looking for.

Okay ladies, this is my first draft of my ad, can you critique it for me and give me any suggestions??
Miranda,
Personally...I wouldn't change a thing! Get that pic girl. I think that was terrific and geared towards someone who "gets" your personality and will project the same too (or course that will happen but it will also attract those who don't...now all you will have to do is weed out lol
Bravo,
Lizzie
Great profile! I honestly don't see anything that needs editing or improvement. Good for you! Now get that picture.
When I was posting my first profile my sister was as well. We just hung out one day with a digital camera and a bottle of wine and took tons of photos of each other in her back yard. We even changed clothes and hair a bit so the pictures didn't look like they were taken at the same time. It was some goofy fun.
Do you have a friend or family member who you can spend an afternoon with? ...go out to lunch, shopping, bike riding...what ever, someone you can relax and be yourself around so you don't feel self-conscious. Plan to do something fun, take tons of pics and the energy of it will shine through and your roots won't matter a bit!
Good Luck
Chele
I loved every word except one -- "cuddle". Please, please, please take that out. It is included in 95% of OLD profiles. How about "hanging out at home..."?
Great job!

So I'm assuming I shouldn't be putting in "hanging out with my widdle snookums" either??? LOL
