Question of the Week????

I just read and article about how it works. They take around 15-25 people, depending, and put them in a part like atmosphere and you each get like anywhere from 3-5 minutes each to talk and get to know one another. When the time is up, you move to the next one. It does cost money and you can get free drinks out the deal. You all get labeled with numbers and then in the end you choose. ****My thoughts are that I dont see how this would work. In 3 mins how can you find out enough to know if you want to see this person. I need more than 3 minutes to talk to the guy. I mean, I could say...in three minutes, whether I would a) just sleep with him, b)go on a date, or c) nothing at all. Now, this is all I can come up with in that time frame. Is this type of thing for acutal serious dating or just fun? Im curious.
