Hello, in early December I met a very nice guy online.
Call me cynical, but there's no way I would go for this. I would seriously be questioning if this guy is for real and/or available for a relationship. Anybody can talk via IM, email and occasionally on the phone, plus he lives in another country (unless you live in Buffalo and he just across the border).
To top it off - he won't give you an updated photo. I would ask him why not? He is married, very unatttractive, much older, looking for an online affair?
I understand you feel you're getting closer to him.... but he is essentially refusing your ONE request of him - to show you who he is. Sounds like he is hiding something.
I know it stinks when you think you've met someone who you have a connection with, but this whole internet, online dating opens up some weird situations - people aren't necessarily who they say they are. And as many folks on here have said... real connections come from in person contact.
I think you've asked him enough times for a photo -he clearly is avoiding showing you who he is (that is literally, because figuratively - I think he's doing a great job!). I would move on.
Sorry if this sounds harsh. Some things are hard to see when we are emotionally involved, but so clear from the outside looking in. Been there, done that!!
Adding - okay so let's play devil's advocate and he's super hot, available for a relationship, both really into each other.... he STILL is making excuses and refusing to honor your simple request of supplying a current photo. Is this someone who would make a good partner and who you would want a real life relationship with?
Good luck and let us know how it turns out.zjaney
Hello and thank you for your response. I dont think your being harsh, your speaking from experience.
OK so when you say you'd move on, what do you suggest.
You have to ask yourself.............how did he get the original pictures on there?
It's hard to conclude anything other than
