Questions of the week?

Just a few fun questions for us all to think about this week. A reflective series of questions if you will.....lol

1. If you could choose a television series to be your real life, which one would it be? (it can be and oldie, or a newbie)

***Personally, I always wanted to be on the Cosby Show, like I wish I were black, maybe. lol No, I did wish that Clare was my mom, just cause she was so cool and Bill Cosby would have be the best dad ever, I think. lol Now, if we are talking now, currently I would want to be in Will and Grace. I just adore Karen and I feel like her and I could go have maritnis daily together !! I love martinis and I love Jack to death! lol

2. What is one product or object can you NOT live without?

***Now, the one thing I could not live without would be my chapstick. I have to have moist lips at ALL times. Or if I had to go without my hair clip, I may die! My hair is so long, I need something to keep it out of my face at all times. WHEW! Thank god for scrunchies. lol

3. If you had one wish for one person on THIS board what would it be?

***I wish that Deena would get married this year!!! (giggles, I know she is gonna kill me for saying that!) lol I really do wish that for ya though girl. :)

Ok, now come on peeps, let get some good answers here!!! I wanna see posts! lol lol

1. If you could choose a television series to be your real life, which one would it be? (it can be and oldie, or a newbie) Hmmmm, good question! I'd have to say Passions...they all have jobs, but don't actually go to them, the kids are in school but they seem to have summer year round and anyone who gets that much sex has to be a very happy person!!

2. What is one product or object can you NOT live without? My straightening iron and my curling iron, with out them my hair would be one big thick mess!

3. If you had one wish for one person on THIS board what would it be? I can't pick just one! I want everyone here to be happy and physically with their hunnies. :)

Just a lil update on me....I don't think that things with B are going to work out...he's getting too clingy and I really don't like that, all he ever wants to talk about is what we do if he was here (ie. he'd be holding me and kissing me and watching movies) its getting old and last night he didn't even talk to me, so I don't know whats up with that, but you know what? It doesn't bother me....not even a little bit, I didn't let myself get attached and right now I have no problems just letting him go :) AND...it doesn't hurt that there's another guy I've been talking to a lot lately who is a sweetie....but just a friend :) (a girl's gotta keep her options open!)

What a big smile I have on my face!!!! Me too!!!! You crack me up :-)

By the way - the product I can't live without - my brand new wet to dry hair iron - irons your hair while wet and dries at the same time - gives me a jennifer anniston look despite that my hair looks like jennifer grey's in dirty dancing when natural.. . .

Ya know, Linds....I admire you. I wish I were as smart as you are when I was your age. Now that I am 27, I just now figured it all out. After a divorce, two kids, and many relationships....I finally know what I will and will not put up with. I know me, so I know who I need to be with. I just wish I were as smart as you, way back when. lol WOuld saved myself alotta heartache. You have a good head on those pretty shoulders girl!! Keep it up!!!!

Well, it's $200 and it's made by a company called Krembs - I bought it at the Mark Garrison Salon in New York City.

Well, I guess I wont be looking like jennifer aniston! lol that is way too much to spend on a hair product for me. lol Being a mother, I could think of a zillion other things to buy for the boys with 200 bucks, instead of something like that. I feel guilty even when I get my hair cut, which is every 6 months or so. lol

Well for me it is paying for itself - I get my hair blown out for special occasions and that I go to a cheap place for about $50 - so far I have skipped two of those appointments so I only have two more to go before it pays for itself. I typically get my hair cut, and now highlighted, every 3-4 months at the same place - it's close to 50 percent less than a typical NYC salon.

Otherwise the only thing I really splurge on is rent - it's about $2100 a month and that is with rent stabilization - about $500 cheaper than the average one bedroom in this town. But, I have no car payments or insurance (I don't drive).

I seem to forget that the cost of living in New York is way higher than down here, in the south. My rent is 525 a month and I am at my limit with that! lol I only make alittle under 2100 in a month's pay, so I would be on the street living there, for sure. lol I have to also remember, you are a lawyer and you do have a degree, there fore you would make alot more than me, without a degree. Guess I will not be going to New York for a while yet! Im happy you got the money and the "time" to get the hair done and still pay rent, girl!! Good lord!!! lol You got it going on!
