FYI Girls/Guys,

I wrote an email to the guy I am talking to. I said I was going to cut off the conversations for awhile because I need some time. Guess what? He didn't open the stupid email overnight and I unsent it this morning! LOL. Oh well! I am trying.

That's nothing!!! I was replying to a question one guy asked me through eHarmony on if I was given 3 wishes what would they be.... my answer was, in this order

1. To outlive my child
2. Health
3. Financially secure

I LEFT THE WORD "NOT" out of my first answer.

We were at the "open communication" stage and the next day I realized what I had done and promptly sent him a message rambling about how I had left that word out. To say the least, I have not heard from him! LOL

I can't even tell you how many times I've done this when I was on AOL.

I was seeing a man for many years, and he was really passive agressive and I'd get my nose out of joint about something and his reaction and I'd fire off these NASTYGRAMS to his email, and then in the morning, I'd go and if he hadn't opened it yet, I'd unsend them since in the light of day I was really not that mad. LOL

Yes...it's pretty funny. LOL. :) I just like this man too much...at least so far. But I really know it would have been best to send the stinkin' email! LOL

How can you tell if someone has read your email yet? I've never heard of any way to know that.

I am not sure about other companies, but AOL members can see what **OTHER AOL members** did with their email....if they opened it, or at some point deleted it, or never opened it.

matchmaker.com is the only one I know of where you can see if someone has read your email.

You can see if someone has read your email on American Singles too. But they also have a feature that allows you to mark it as 'unread' after you've read it.

That's interesting. ha. Also, there is another major one that has little envelops that you can see are opened or closed as to whether it has been read. Can't remember which one.

As long as we're talking about dumb email tricks, I thought I'd delurk and share mine (which will probably make everyone else feel GOOD about theirs).

About this time last year,
